Mars – The closest habitable Planet to our homeland April 30, 2008

While moon is just a small satellite of planet earth, Mars is a true planet. While Mars is only about half as big as earth, it’s total surface area is about the same as Earth’s dry land due to the fact that it doesn’t have any oceans or seas.

Mars pathfinder’s successful mission has enabled us to take a close look at the surface of Mars.
